Neither series is improvised book to book. Both are planned in arcs before the first chapter is written, which is why the artifacts accumulate instead of resetting, and why a bullet taken in one book is still being rehabilitated three books later, in scenes measured out in seconds of unassisted standing.
That is the promise this site is really making. Start a series here and it goes somewhere. The cost carries forward.
